  • Are the Muskets and other equipment real?

    Yes, the muskets fire blanks which have real gunpowder. The swords aren’t sharp on the edge but the point can still harm you.

  • What is the War of 1812?

    During the early 1800’s a man from France by the name of Napoleon decided to take over Europe the British blockaded France and main land Europe and impressed Amrican saloirs who sounded British to join the Royal Navy even though the US was Nuetral. The Aboriginals were also trading with the British for Guns to fight the exspantion of the US into the Mid West. These were the main driving points for the War.

  • Did all Aboriginals fight for the British?

    At the begining of the War most of the Aboriginals fought for the British Under figures like John Norton, JohnBrant and Tecumseh after the death of Tecumseh in 1813 a lot of tribes either joined the US or made peace and were neutreal. some however did fight for the US but they were very few.

  • How do I get involved?

    If you are in the area of where we recruit out of you are welcome to join us. If you are not but would like to get involved we can help you find a unit in your local area or if there are none we can help you start a unit up.

  • What is a season for reenacting?

    It depends on the unit commonly events start in May and end in October. However some events do events in the winter. For the Ninh US see Our Vision for owwe plan on running.

  • How do you find out about local events?

    We will try and update our event section you can also check the crownforces 1812 website or another units website.
